Description

John Unwin is listed as a scissor maker at Church Street in Sketchley (1774). His mark is the word "HOPE". He subsequently appears with the same mark at Brinsworth's Orchard (Gales & Martin, 1787) and at 43 Orchard Street (Robinson's, 1797). (Brinsworth's Orchard was a former name for Orchard Street). He appears again in Holden's (1811), again at Orchard Street.
