Description

A leather cutter/button holer with an inch scale. Bows and shanks are japanned. Length of cut adjusted by a screw. Goss (2012) lists this as "C.W. Cutlery. Patented 1867"; however, a seemingly identical item on eBay (oldtoolhunter, retrieved 23rd January 2025) gives a clearer picture of the markings, which say "C.N. CUTTER PAT. JAN. 1 1867"
