A leather cutter/button holer. Description from Goss (2012): "8" F.C. Leypoldt. Phila. PA. Patented 1860-65. It is a spring-operated cutter with an inch razor-like blade with a hole punch. The blade holder is set into riveted brass plates. Has japanned handles."
