Pocket scissors. -- The blades are made to slide in and out between the handles, which have catches to keep them in position when pushed out for use. The bows may be fixed, or movable, upon the handles. The lower parts g, g, of the blades f slide between the stems or handles a, a, which have recesses b, b, to receive studs upon the blades when pushed out for use. The bows d, d may be fixed, or pivoted upon a pin so as to turn in and out, stops e holding them in position; or they may be hinged so as to fold over, or be made to slide in and out, or otherwise mounted to reduce the bulk of the scissors when closed.Cataloged By
