1452. Longden, D. April 21. Shears. -- Sheep shears are constructed with the curved sides a, b, butting together and riveted to a strap c, the edges of which overlap at the front or back. The space between the edges d, e may be filled by an inner piece. In another form, a flat cover is riveted on one or both sides of the joint.
