Shears.-- The blades of sheep and like shears are formed separate from the spring and shanks. A short tang on each blade fits into a slot at the end of each shank and is secured by a screw, spring, catch, &c. The blades and tangs are forged, rolled, or flied out and the springs and shanks are preferably cut or punched out of sheet steel.Cataloged By
