2501. Gedge, W. E., [Aubert, H.F.] Oct. 12. Shears made so that the two sides of the sheet being cut pass on to the same blade, curling of the working thus prevented. Fig. 1 shows the construction adopted, one side of the cut sheet passes through the groove A, B in one blade, and the other side slides against a raised part C, D of the other blade. Wire cutters G are provided, and a guide may be added for use in cutting in long strips.
