Sheep &c. shears. -- The strip of steel which forms the cutting-edge of one of the blades is prolonged beyond the lower part of such blade, and then turned and folded up over it so as to form a guide for the other blade to slide in. Or a separate piece may be attached to one of the blades by screwing or otherwise, and act as a "spring clip" to press the blades together as they close.Cataloged By
