Scissors and shears. -- The upper portion of the shoulder of each blade of tailors' shears and scissors is formed with a curved projection through which the pivot passes. The lower portion of one blade has a pin, working in a curved slot in the other. The bottom of the finger bow is made flat and in a line with the back of the lower blade, so that the shears will lie close to the table. The upper or thumb bow is curved and stands up.Cataloged By
