Sheep and like shears. -- The blades, shanks, and bow are first formed in one plane, the bow being afterwards bent out to give elasticity. The whole may be in one piece or in two pieces riveted together at the bow. The handles may be of wood &c. secured on each side of the shanks, as shown, or the shanks may be formed with a prolongation on one or both edges which is bent round the flat part to form a handle.Cataloged By
