7349. Atkinson, T. March 26. Shears for cutting sheets of metal and other hard or tough substances are formed with a single blade a acting in conjunction with a double blade b, the blade a being pivoted and b1 between the members of the blade b and operated by a handle c pivoted at c1. Fig. 1 shows the blades formed for cutting corrugated sheets, while Fig. 3 shows blades suitable for flat sheets.
