Shears, sheep. Two pairs of blades c, d are so arranged that they have a parallel motion over one another by means of pins g and slots f. The blades are made exactly similar to one another and are fixed in plates a, b, as shown separately in Fig. 4. The handle is either formed in two hinged halves, each carrying a spring r; or a handle formed of spring metal may be used.
