A fine, delicate pair of Embroidery Scissors marked "BUTLER" - possibly, but not certainly, made by George Butler & Co of Sheffield. Shanks are (winged) spanish with a bead connecting them to a swamp joint. The screw is decorated, there is no shoulder transition, and the cross section is cs5. There are pairing marks on the unders.Category
