Description

A delicate pair of scissors with gilded bows and shanks. Shanks are quaker double wing, pivot is a screw. There is no shoulder transition, cross section is cs2, blade and point are pivot. Marked "J. RODGERS & SONS" above the pivot, with pairing marks (4) on the unders. Dated to the last half of the 19th century.
