1800s, screw, st3, cs4, bodkin blade, sarumDescription
A small and delicate pair of scissors marked "HALSTAFF" (?). Stylistically dated to the first half of the 19th century, there was a maker of cases (vanity, sewing, writing sets, etc) called William Halstaff operating in London during that period, so it is possible that these would have been made to be part of a set.
The shanks are sarum, and the pivot is a screw. Shoulder is st3, cross section is cs4, and point is bodkin.Inscription/Signature/Marks
