A delicate pair of scissors made by Lund and marked "24 FLEET STREET" - the Fleet Street business was apparently established in 1835, which gives an 'earliest manufacturing date' for these scissors. The shanks are thread neck bat with a bead where the shank meets the joint, the screw is decorated. Shoulder is st3, cross section is cs4, and the point is bodkin.Category
