Description

A pair of commemorative scissors made for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. Marked "SHEFFIELD ENGLAND" and "81" (or possibly "B1"?) on the pivot area. The shanks are decorated on each side with flowers, the letters "ER", and "1953". Pivot is a rivet. Shoulder transition is st1, cross section is cs4, and point is bodkin.
