Walker & Hall were "Silversmiths, Goldsmiths, Cutlers, etc" based in Sheffield, with Wholesale Stock and Show Rooms across the UK as well as in Australia & New Zealand. This catalogue can be dated to c. early 1920s: on page 3 is an illustration of a Fumed Oak Cabinet On Stand presented to "RT. HON. D. LLOYD GEORGE, O.M., M.P., PRIME MINISTER" - Lloyd George was granted the Order of Merit (O.M.) in 1919; additionally, on page 109 there are some examples of engravings done for customers, one of which refers to a presentation to "George Gillespie Esq. 21st January 1921". It is therefore reasonable to assume that the catalogue dates from around this time.
