Alexis Lanier was born and raised in Stark County, Ohio. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Wooster College and her masters at Michigan State University. Lanier is a Hydrogeologist specializing in computer coding and models. She focuses on developing and reviewing groundwater models to predict different aspects of groundwater availability and vulnerability. She enjoys thinking conceptionally through challenges to understand Ohio’s water resources.
