Description

This is a set of Walker China Co. dishes used at Lake Hope State Park. The dishes feature buckeye leaves and the Great Seal of the State of Ohio. This dish set was salvaged from the Lake Hope Dining Lodge fire in 2006. There is also a set inside the Big House at Malabar Farm State Park. Walker China Company was located in New Bedford, Ohio. According to the Bedford Historical Society website, they manufactured china for 'Vitrified China, Hotel Ware, White and Underglazed decorated, for Hotels, Restaurants, Clubs, Churches, etc.'
