Ohio Geological SurveyContext
The entire staff adores Madge for her passion, kindness and supreme dedication to the Ohio Geological Survey.
Dennis N. Huff former Assistant Chief wrote the following which perfectly describes Madge’s contributions and importance to the Survey “She is the person who works behind the scenes to ensure that all of the things that need to be done to promote comradery, unity, and connectivity of past and present, are accomplished. She is the glue that truly binds the Survey together as an organization and makes it possible for all the human components of the Survey to work together, sometimes cry together, and fully commit to accomplishing the Survey’s mission and vision. Madge’s selfless devotion to the Survey as an organization and to Survey staff, both past and present, is exemplary and hard to describe adequately. Certainly, all who have worked with Madge have been blessed by that privilege."Collection
