Both Greater and Lesser Scaup share many characteristics such as yellow eyes, bluish bill, and dark head, so it is difficult to assign this decoy to either species. The paint work on this decoy has been retouched. The decoy was manufactured by Wm. E. Pratt, Mfg of Joliet, Illinois. Although they originally produced screw jacks, Pratt began manufacturing decoys in 1920.Location
