East Fork State Park - Bethel Methodist Church, date unknown: Methodist Reverend John Collins and his congregation built Bethel Church in 1818. The bell tower was added in 1867. This historic church held its last service in 1969 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. The cemetery includes the graves of pioneer settlers including John, his wife Sarah, Ulysses S. Grant's maternal grandparents, and veterans of both the American Revolutionary War and Civil War.
