Description

Circular curry combs were used to loosen mud, and dirt from a horse's coat. It is important to groom a horse to keep their coats in good shape and to prevent tack from irritating the skin. Following the curry comb, a groomer will used a brush to wipe away loosened debris and fur, always keeping in mind to avoid sensitive areas of the horse. Today, rubber curry combs are much more common than metal ones. Wood-handle curry comb, 8.5-inch long with four circular blades and teeth. Curry combs remove mud, dust, and winter coat from a horse's hair.
