Description

Attributed to Harold Hopfinger of Port Clinton, Ohio during the mid-twentieth century, this decoy has retained much of its paint job. Mallard ducks adapt to many environments which is why they are common, even in more urban areas. They are also omnivores, willing to eat tadpoles, crustaceans, and worms alongside waste grain and a wide variety of plants.
