Three arm gilt metal candelabra with hanging, articulated crystal prisms. The figures of a courtly man and a woman standing on a marble slab form the base of the candelabra. Elaborate stylized foliage decorates the metal arms. This is a very ornate and 'old-fashioned' style of decoration for a household of the 1940s. It is likely French and dating from the late 19th century.Location
