The Division of Civilian Conservation patch is 3-inch x 4-inch featuring a grass-green landscape with a river running down the middle of the scene and a figure holding a shovel standing beside it. The words Department of Natural Resources, Ohio, and Division of Civilian Conservation are all embroidered in brown. The patch is bordered in the same green as the central image.
In 1977 the Office of Civilian Conservation was formed. On August 15, 1979, it officially became the Division of Civilian Conservation with the enactment of House Bill 565. As of 2004, the Civilian Conservation Corps is no longer active.
