Description

Travel chess set with black leather cover. The top of the chessboard has alternating dark- and light-colored wood squares with holes in the center to securely hold the pieces while the chess set was in motion. A drawer under the chessboard opens to reveal small plastic chess piece pegs in red and white. The leather cover is constructed to look like the cover of a book, with the inscription on the 'spine' reading: Chess; Vol 524; E.S. Lowe.
