On his right is ODNR's eight director and first female director, Frances Seiberling Buchholzer. She led ODNR between 1991-1995. Her conservation efforts led to her induction into ODNR's Hall of Fame in 2003. On his left is Glen D. Alexander, the chief of the ODNR Division of Parks and Recreation (today the Division of Parks and Watercraft) between 1991-1997. Alexander received the Cardinal Award in 2024 in honor of his career in natural resource management.
