Description

The 1850-1950 Vinton County Centennial Flag. It was created to celebrate the county's centennial in 150. McArthur, Ohio, is the county seat. The county's name comes from Samuel Finley Vinton, a U.S. House of Representatives delegate from Ohio who held elected offices from the 1820s to the 1850s. The printing utilizes the patriotic colors of red and blue and touts '100 years of progress'. As of the 2020 census, Vinton County is the least populated county in Ohio.
