Description

This embroidered round patch has a light blue background, a beige border, and Ohio Department of Natural Resources Office of The Director in blue letters. The patch features the Great Seal of the State of Ohio in its center. The seal shows the Scioto River flowing between cultivated fields and Mount Logan, the sun's rays symbolizing the original colonies, and a sheaf of wheat standing in the foreground as a symbol of agriculture and bounty. Next to the wheat is a bundle of 17 arrows representing Ohio's Native Americans and also recognizing Ohio as the 17th state to enter the Union.
