This waffle iron was designed to be used on the hearth when a stove wasn't available. The face measures 4 1/4" by 6 1/4" and makes one waffle with the common grid design. The forged handles are 25" long. The handles open in a "scissors" action to accept the batter. The casting of the body reads "B. W. Co./CHATHAM"
