Description

Manufactured by Orbex in 1982, this hand warmer, the Jon-e handwarmer is chrome-plated with a vented top. The flannel carrying case is used to keep your hands from becoming too hot. Jon W. Smith originally patented this item for Aladdin Laboratories in the 1950s. Early advertisements for this product called it a personal radiator and a pocket furnace. The following fuels should be used as taken from the original instructions, "Jon-e Fluid, Energine (inflammable) cleaning fluid, regular naptha, stove and lamp (white) gasoline. Some lighter fluids will NOT work, however these give fair results: Energine lighter fluid, Zippo, Ronsonol, and Gulf."
