This painting hangs in the Nature Center at Lake Loramie and was painted by local artist, Rooney Bensman in the fall of 1978. Rooney's painting features a section of Lake Loramie, a dock and a tree with decorative rocks on the shoreline surrounding the tree. Across the lake stands one green house with white borders around the windows and a white chimney. The green house is nestled in with many trees changing into fall colors. Lynn Smith, a historian and a Friend of Lake Loramie, reports that the green house is no longer there.Location
