WOGS_034Description
Lisa Long was born in Darke County in 1973. She received a bachelor’s in history at The Ohio State University and a Master of Library Sciences from Kent State University.
At the time of Lisa’s arrival in 2015, the Ohio Geological Survey did not have a formal library or archival program. Lisa brought both archival and management experience to the Survey and successfully established the Pauline Smyth Library.
The unique opportunity to develop a library from ground up thrilled Lisa, as she described her position as “living the dream.”
In addition to serving as the Library Administrator, Lisa also is the Record Manager for the Survey.Photograph Details
