Margaret R. Sneeringer, geologist and mineral statistician in the Regional Geology Section of the Ohio Geological Survey at her desk in Bulding-B at Fountain Square. Margaret was responsible for compiling the Annual Report on Ohio Mineral Industries. The 1983 Annual Report on Ohio Mineral Industries was the first time the Ohio Geological Survey was entirely responsible for gathering, compiling, and publishing of the mineral statistics for Ohio. Margaret was compiling mineral statistics when the image was taken circa 1982-1985. The Ohio Geological Survey's main office was located at Fountain Square on Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229 from May 1973 to the present. The Geological Survey's offices were on the first and second floors of Building B from May 1973 until a move to the first and second floors of Building C in January 2005.
