James J. Schmidt looking at strip logs for water wells. James was a geologist in the Water Inventory Section of the Ohio Geological Survey from 1951 through 1985. The Water Inventory Section was part of the Ohio Geological Survey between 1973 through 1976. The section mapped the surface and subsurface water resources in Ohio.
