Norman F. Knapp doing analysis in the geochemistry laboratory at the Ohio Geological Survey's Grandview Office Building. Norman worked in the Geochemistry Laboratory Section of the Ohio Geological Survey. This picture was taken in the geochemistry laboratory at the Grandview Avenue Offices circa early 1970s. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Geological Survey's main office was located at 1207 Grandview Avenue, Grandview Heights, Ohio 43212 from 1962 through May 1973. The Grandview office had x-ray, petrography, and geochemistry laboratories on the first floor. More informally, rooms with coal polishing equipment, microscopes, and other types of equipment were located in various spaces at the Grandview office.
