Outcrop showing Delaware Limestone in an abandoned quarry on Ohio State Route 315 near Powell, Delaware County, Ohio. Unit lithology in this area is shale, siltstone, and sandstone. Bedrock is from the Devonian Geologic Period. The photograph was taken at Stop #2 of the Ohio Academy of Science field trip on April 26, 1969.
