The Beldon Brick Company Plant No. 4 at Sugarcreek, Tuscarawas County, Ohio. Historically the plant, which was originally owned by the Finzer Brothers Clay Company, sold both clay products and coal from the Pennsylvanian Geologic Period. Belden bought the Finzer operation in 1946. Note the historic beehive kilns still in operation in the left background. The image was taken in summer 1999.
REVIEW
Sarah Holderfield, administrative assistant for Belden Brick Company, explains the plant numbering in an e-mail of 26 April 2016 to Lisa Long: So there is main office here in Canton Ohio. Its where all the samples are put into the computer, all of the Beldens work here and its like headquarters. There are no brick that come out of this office here in Canton. It all is made/ shipped / and picked up from our plants down in Sugarcreek Ohio. There are 6 different plants down there, and each plant makes different bricks. There is plant number 2,3,4,5,6,8! Each a different building, with a different address.
