REVIEW
Information comes from: Investigation of the Deep Coal Resources of Portions of Belmont, Guernsey, Monroe, Noble, and Washington Counties, Ohio (Ohio Geological Survey, Report of Investigations 116, 1980).
There were 16 core holes bored in Noble County. Five of the 16 were bored in 1978 (the slides are date stamped with November 1977). The following Core File Records were done in October and November, which seems the most likely based on tree cover, harvested fields, and clothing choices. We picked #2405, even though it is not specified on the slides (i.e. process of elimination and then picked one of the six listed below).
Elk Twp (#2404) October
Stock Twp (#2405) late September/early October
Center Twp (#2406) late October
Stock Twp (#2407) early October
Marion Twp (#2412) early November
Center Twp (#2413) late November
