A cave formation known as The Beehive at the Zane Shawnee Caverns in Logan County, Ohio. The cave formed in Columbus Limestone of the Devonian Geologic Period. The site of the former Zane's Caverns was purchased by the United Remnant Band of the Shawnee Nation in 1996 and renamed the Zane Shawnee Caverns. It is a show cave for public tourism. This image received an honorable mention in the 1985 Ohio Geology Slide Contest.
