An outcrop of the Massillon sandstone of the Pottsville Group at a quarry near Glenmont, Holmes County, Ohio. This area has shale, siltstone, sandstone, conglomerate, limestone and coal lithologies. Bedrock is from the Pennsylvanian Geologic Period. The image was taken by George W. White in June 1946. Location is approximate to Glenmont, Ohio.
