Plum Run Stone quarry located two miles east of Peebles in Adams County, Ohio. The image shows abundant iron (Fe) staining on the quarry wall surface with the Lilley Formation, Peebles Dolomite, and Greenfield Dolomite in June 1963. Unit lithology in this area is dolomite, shale, limestone and sandstone. Bedrock is from the Silurian Geologic Period.
