An outcrop of the Cleveland Shale Member of the Ohio Shale overlain by the Bedford Shale at West Creek, locally known as Skinner's Run, east of Broadview Road in Brooklyn Heights, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Bedrock is from the Devonian Geologic Period. The photograph was taken in 1982.
