The photograph is taken looking southward across the farm fields of the Paint Creek valley toward the cliff face wall. Unit lithology in this area is Ohio Shale overlain by Bedford Shale and Berea Sandstone. Bedrock is from the Devonian Geologic Period. The photograph was taken October 26, 1982.
