An outcrop of the Chagrin Shale Member of the Ohio Shale along Conneaut Creek near the intersection with Middle Road in Conneaut, Ashtabula County, Ohio. Unit lithology in this area is shale, siltstone, and sandstone. Bedrock is from the Devonian Geologic Period. Douglas Zehner took this photograph in 1984.
