An outcrop with the base of the Cleveland Shale Member of the Ohio Shale in West Creek, locally known as Skinner's Run, east of Broadview Road in Brooklyn Heights, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Unit lithology in this area is shale, siltstone, and sandstone. Bedrock is from the Devonian Geologic Period. The photograph was taken in 1982.
