An outcrop of the Pottsville Group-Sharon sandstone/conglomerate at Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park, Nelson Township, Portage County, Ohio. Bedrock is from the Pennsylvanian Geologic Period. The photograph received an honorable mention in the 1985 Ohio Geology Slide Contest.
