Pottsville Group-Sharon sandstone/conglomerate quartz pebbles along the north side of State Route 124 in the northeast 1/4 of Section 10, Scioto Township, Jackson County, Ohio. This area has shale, siltstone, sandstone and conglomerate lithologies. Bedrock is from the Pennsylvanian Geologic Period. The photograph was taken by Michael C. Hansen in 1982.
